Repeater & Nets Information

REPEATER
PCARC Maintains the W1WQM 100% solar-powered repeater providing coverage from the Mass. North Shore to Southern York County, Maine, and west to Manchester NH.

Frequency is 145.150, negative offset, using a PL tone of 127.3 for the main site on Weymouth Hill in Kensington, NH. Remote inputs are located in Portsmouth, NH (use PL 110.9) and in Durham. NH (use PL 88.5). The remote inputs transmit a lower frequency courtesy beep than the main site.

NETS
PCARC maintains two local nets - the Sunday Morning ragchew on 3895 kHz at 10 am EST each Sunday Morning, and the East Rockingham ARES net each Thursday night at 8 pm local time (note - this time has changed as of April 2006). The first Thursday of the month the ARES net is held on 147.570 Simplex, and following Thursdays use the repeater as listed above. See the W1ROC.org website for more ARES info.

PCARC also has a 70cm repeatear, which is currently operating at the club station on 444.400, positive offset 5Khz, 100 Hz PL tone. Output power is currently limited, so the repeater range is around 10-12 miles at this time. This repeater is also intermittently used to remote control HF gear.

Meetings Wed. Evenings Sept. - June

The Port City Amateur Radio Club Meets the first Wednesday of each month from September thru June at the Piscataqua Fish and Game Clubhouse at the end of Tuttle Lane in Greenland, NH. Meetings begin at 7:30 pm, although there are usually several members present from around 6pm on. We have plans to offer a meal prior to the meeting for a modest fee, for the benefit of the Club Treasury. Everyone is welcome, amateurs, guests, and prospective amateurs alike.

Tuttle Lane is accessed from Rt. 33, approximately 2.5 miles West of the junction with I-95. There is a Cumberland Farms store at the corner.
